Ended up returning it and went back to the fisher price aquarium soother which is way better in my opinion. There are 4 soothing modes: melodies-lights-motion, melodies only, ocean sounds-lights-motion, and ocean sounds only. (if you’ve watched little Einstein’s you got my joke) It is very hard to entertain a baby for a long flight, so bring this along for the ride to keep them preoccupied or to help them get to sleep.
We will be purchasing another one for our youngest since they will not inherit this one.
Also, if you let the unit play through the whole cycle and it turns itself off, the remote no longer works to turn it on. We attached it to the head rest and our baby loves it. The baby sits there pressing the on off button over and over and over....and over.... untill it gets bored and the does the usual screaming session. It looks so soothing . I suggest trying all the different settings to see which one seems to work best with your child. It has provided hours of entertainment.... great on those mornings where you want a few extra minutes in bed.

We haven’t had it long enough to say if it eats batteries and we are using rechargeable batteries. I suggest any parents of a baby get one. It seems so much louder and the sea creatures and submarine grind around rather than moving smoothly so it is the furthest thing from soothing. The unique underwater light effect, motion of the baby Neptune characters, and real life imagery will help calm baby.
The adjustable strap can be mounted to the back of a headrest for the baby to view the light show. Little eyelids grow heavy with the unique Drift Off feature, which gradually softens lights and … It's hardly a perfect product, however, and some things would likely have me reconsidering whether I'd buy it again.

We would go into maybe several weeks long "phases" when our daughter would get up 4am or 5am and will just scream and scream. Despite all of that usage, we could usually get around 45 days out of a set of batteries before we needed to replace them. Soft lights and 25 plus minutes of classical music will soothe baby to sleep with the Sea Dreams Soother. Anything that helps to get your baby to self soothe and sleep longer is totally worth it! Did not try to contact company either mainly because I kept forgetting to do so when I had time.
Ended up returning it and went back to the fisher price aquarium soother which is way better in my opinion. There are 4 soothing modes: melodies-lights-motion, melodies only, ocean sounds-lights-motion, and ocean sounds only. (if you’ve watched little Einstein’s you got my joke) It is very hard to entertain a baby for a long flight, so bring this along for the ride to keep them preoccupied or to help them get to sleep.
We will be purchasing another one for our youngest since they will not inherit this one.
Also, if you let the unit play through the whole cycle and it turns itself off, the remote no longer works to turn it on. We attached it to the head rest and our baby loves it. The baby sits there pressing the on off button over and over and over....and over.... untill it gets bored and the does the usual screaming session. It looks so soothing . Going to tape up the speaker holes in an attempt to make it quieter and more useable. There's a problem loading this menu right now.
