Which is also very, very common, regardless of audio interface. Reinstalled what may or may not be a newer driver from the EU site, restarting all the way of course, and those seemed to be fine. Take a breath man, getting salty only makes dealing with these frustrations harder. The TASCAM Model 24 really does have a nice combination of features and capabilities, and at this price (which is less than I paid for my six channel, four track TASCAM 246 Portastudio back in the 1980s), you get a lot for your money - it's bound to be a successful product for TASCAM. Newer Than: Search this thread only; Search this forum only. Without ASIO driver support (which isn't built into most anything outside DAWs), you won't access more than the first two channels. This issue does not affect playback of 24 bit audio through DAW software. TASCAM is preparing a new Windows driver to resolve this issue and will publish it on the TASCAM website when it is ready. Poorly coded drivers in general can also mess with dpc latency making an otherwise powerful computer useless for audio work.
