It does not have the versatility regarding settings of the PH-3, but it does have a real great sound all its own, a warm, rich sound and the parameters of the rate and feedback settings are quite wide. It stopped after a couple days. Most of them negatively affect your signal chain in bypass mode and I could still hear a little phasing happening all the time. I've owned the Small Stone but got rid of it because of the awful volume drop. The only way to prevent them is to remove your tonsils. Exclusive deals, delivered straight to your inbox. I love phasers. The lower settings were often drowned out and the 'wackier' settings weren't as wacky as some others. I'd recommend the Ibanez phasers from the 7 and 10/L series pedals. My review of this is simple: it sounds wonderful - exactly as it should in a very simple nostalgic way. The Flanger Hoax also features direct, blended, and effect outputs, so you can incorporate it into your stereo setup or mixing board.
